Directions: From your location, find either I-93 or I-95 in NH. Take Route 101 East from I-93, or 101 West from I-95, to Exit 5. Turn right off the ramp. At the light at the intersection of Routes 107 and 27 (Irving gas station will be directly in front of you), turn left. Immediately turn right onto Route 156 North (after Walgreens on your right). Go 1 mile. Turn left onto Harriman Hill Road (this is the first 4-way intersection on Route 156). Look for mailbox #129 (on the right). “Sanctuary” driveway is on the left. Follow the driveway to the designated parking areas.
“Sanctuary” "Sanctuary" is 65 acres of land dedicated to transformation, renewal, and healing. Created and cared for by John and Elizabeth "Alaya" Chadwick, this land offers eco-spiritual empowerment to all who visit. Listed below are some of the unique offerings of this sacred place. Group events may be scheduled as time and schedules permit.
Introductory Tour required for your safety Please call 603-895-4530 to schedule a tour of the land before coming for the first time, as this land abuts 300 acres of conservation land, and it can be easy to get lost.
The Sanctuary Labyrinth. The labyrinth structure is a pattern that's approximately 2500 years old. While linked to no particular religion, labyrinths may be found in the floors of many cathedrals and churches around the world. Walking the path of the labyrinth to the central point serves to center one's thoughts and spirits.
The Stone Medicine Circle. There is an energy vortex in the center of it. It is often used as a place to meditate. The Medicine Circle itself has a history that goes back eons of time.
Pathways. Walk the many pathways and allow the land and spirit to touch your heart, mind, and soul. Along the paths you'll find streams and ponds, a beaver dam, Transformation Swamp, and as assortment of creatures such as frogs, turtles, beavers, deer, birds, and even the occasional bear and moose. You'll also find lady's slippers and other wild flowers along the way.
The Gate of Grace is an Angelic Gateway of sacred geometrical formation that creates a holographic angelic vortex. The Gate of Grace can be used for angelic communication and healing of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual body.
